Tom McCulloughs’ Story

When it come to the history of the arts in Sunraysia, one name stands out, Tom McCullough, now retired and living down on the Mornington Peninsula. With the construction of the Art Gallery and Theater plus the launch of Sculpture-Scape under his tenure, Tom has lasting memories of his time as Arts Director in Mildura commencing in the mid 1960’s.

  1. Hey Ian
What a great interview, great story, great man. Really put Mildura not only the Australian but on the World Arts stage. Thanks for the plug re Mildura Day. Will catch up soon.

  2. I remember during the Sculpture Scape the brick wrapped in plastic that Tom brought into the STV 8 studio to talk about. Very controversial at the time.

  3. A very enjoyable and informative podcast.
Also lovely to hear an old work colleague in Tom McCullough sounding so well and with such detailed recall.
    Just wonderful stuff.
