Meeting Allan Taylor

Frames of History has now recorded interviews with over 60 residents of Sunraysia and recently on a visit to the Early Settlers Museum in Dareton, we chatted with Allan Taylor. In this interview we’ll discover that since retiring from a busy life as an accountant and a blockie, Allan has settled in to producing some wonderful art and photography.

Thank you for sharing your story Alan, very much appreciated. My dad in his young years worked on a farm in Robinvale and always dreamed he would have a vineyard. We moved to Mildura when I was 13 yrs and we lived on 40 acres. Best time ever. My dad was an amazing man and passed away in his early 50's. I miss my home. I enjoyed listening to your story. Thank you

Alan’s artwork at the Sunraysia Early Settlers Museum is a collection of works that really complement’s the many pieces of machinery and equipment in our museum. The Taylor family are still very involved in community with a few adding their work ethic to the museum.
