Alan and Shirley Cameron are very well known across the district and once you’ve seen what they involved themselves with over the years, it’s no wonder. To quote Shirley – ” We usually had at least two projects going at any one time.” As part of our interviews recorded with people across Sunraysia, we caught up with the couple back in January 2023. Alan had just announced that he’d be retiring from his position as a celebrant and Shirley was still working out where she’d pull back. Sadly we’ve learnt as we’ve prepared this interview for posting, that Shirley passed away late in October.
