Desert Dreams is a film commissioned in 1988 by the Committee of Management for the Old Mildura Homestead, highlighting the successes of the Sunraysia area one hundred years after its founding. The legendary Bud Tingwell narrates the film, which tells the well known story of how the settlement began and showcases a time when the fruit industry was thriving and innovation was high. This is part of a collection of films kept safe all these years by the Mildura and District Historical Society.
