Some news footage from around 1970 takes us to the Workers. First of all in the famous main bar where a crowd is really packed in for the evenings entertainment. It’s been suggested that this maybe footage of an event to break the work record for the number of people in a bar but we’re not entirely sure of that. At the end of the film we’re outside on the bowling green for a ladies competition. Plenty of faces in this clip to study and recognise and so if you see someone familiar, please let us know in the comments.
