Easter is just around the corner and so this news clip is set to take you back to Henley on the Murray 1970. To start with a few Rowing Club members busy themselves for the upcoming event and then we take a look at the Miss Henley competition. If you look closely you’ll see Ysonde Harwood at the microphone and soon after, entertainer Geoff Evans on the Hammond organ. There was a mix of fashion styles in 1970 and with the competition over, we see the proud first place holder wearing the winners sash. Amazing to think that all of these contestants will now be in their 70’s !
