From the early days of settlement across the Mallee, the first task has always been to clear the land, originally with horse power, then steam power and finally using the power of the mighty tractor. Frank Jenner created this film clip, most probably back in the 50’s, where we see the various stages of clearing the scrub and then a final shot of a successful crop. A couple of tractors are seen in this clip, a Fordson E27N along with a rugged Bulldog.
