Here’s three STV- WIN TV news stories based on agriculture in Sunraysia dated late in 1983. With the cultivation of almond crops only recently having taken off, first up is a story about the bees that help look after pollination. Then we see some shots of an early mechanical citrus harvester – a technology that never really became popular. Finally some shots taken out at the rail yards and loading bays at the Irymple Packing Company as produce leaves the district. By the way – can anyone name the reporter please ?
