Here’s some aerial video footage taken above Mildura. It starts out near Lake Hawthorn and tracks down towards the river. Some things to take note of are the beginning of the development and reclamation of the salt lakes area where the hospital now stands. There’s still no traffic lights on any intersections along Deakin Ave and the rail yards appear to be still very active. The footage may have been taken around Easter, as we can see buoys set up across the river for the annual rowing competition, a lot of activity on the Rowing Club Lawns and some of the teams out on the water practicing.
