Queen of the Murray – 1948
One of our earliest clips was only published on Youtube and it’s one of the best. It’s the 1948 Queen of the Murray beauty pageant held in conjunction with the Henley on the Murray at Mildura. This event attracted contestants from towns and cities up and down the Murray River. Original footage by Frank Jenner.
